Vote for your League Cup highlightBarclays Premier League clubs are dominating the vote to choose the greatest League Cup moment of all time.

The Football League has revealed the 50 golden moments, as nominated by fans, which will compete for the accolade.

Arsenal and Liverpool lead the way with four nominations each, while Aston Villa, Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur boast two apiece.

To see the Top 50 moments and register your vote, click here - fans voting will have the chance to win one of 50 pairs of tickets for the 2010 Carling Cup Final or one of 200 special edition Carling Cup Final balls.

There are some wonderful memorable moments involving Barclays Premier League clubs and fans are being urged to vote for their favourite.

Memorable Moments
Fulham had the distinction of registering the first ever goal in the fledgling competition, scored by Maurice Cook in 1960.

Most recently Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Foster performed heroics in a Wembley penalty shoot-out to win the trophy against Tottenham Hotspur in 2008/09.

Inbetween there have been many memorable moments for Barclays Premier League clubs, past and present.

Arsenal's remarkable 6-3 quarter-final victory at Anfield is one of their four nominations.

Long-standing Aston Villa fans still recall Chris Nicholl's magnificent long-range hammer-blow in the second replay of the 1977 final.

Birmingham City won the first all top-flight final in 1963 while in 2002 Blackburn Rovers ended a 74-year wait for a cup by beating Spurs, whose semi-final north London derby win over Arsenal is nominated from 2008.

Burnley's Carling Cup heroics from last season are included along with Liverpool winning the trophy for a fourth successive season in 1983.

First Silverware
A memorable penalty save by Gordon Banks against West Ham United in the 1972 semi-final is nominated for Stoke City with Dennis Tueart's unforgettable overhead kick winning the trophy for Manchester City in 1976.

Andy Gray got the winner for Wolverhampton Wanderers against Nottingham Forest in the 1980 final and Paul Ince memorably netted twice in a 4-1 win for West Ham over Liverpool in 1989.

Two seasons later Lee Sharpe scored a hat-trick for Manchester United at Arsenal and Jose Mourinho won his first silverware in English football helping Chelsea to win the competition in 2005.

There are 50 moments to choose from, including second-tier Watford overturning a four-goal deficit to beat top-flight Southampton 7-5 in 1980.

Football League Chairman Lord Mawhinney said: "More than 78 million fans have watched matches in the League Cup since 1960 and we want those supporters to tell us their favourite highlight from the last five decades."
