Veikkausliiga's CEO Jan Valden Veikkausliiga's CEO Jan Valden is looking forward to welcome the return of the emigrant players that once played for the Finish Football League. The already long list of big names, was now increased by the return of Alexei Eremenko Junior that joined FF Jaro on a loan agreement from Methalist Kharkiv (Ukrainian Premier League).

In the first 2010 transfer period the comebacks reached a record number. Alongside with Alexei Eremenko Junior many other players joined clubs from the league. Jonatan Johansson (TPS), Jari Litmanen (FC Lahti), Toni Kuivasto (Hagen), Janne Saarinen (HJK), Janne Hietanen (AC Oulu) and Juha Pasoja (JJK), Antti Okkonen (MyPa), Mika Nurmela (AC Oulu), and Aki Riihilahti (HJK), all count for the statistics.
