Finnish Veikkausliiga started in April and the ongoing season is the 20th in league’s history. One of the most exciting things for a Veikkausliiga fan is the opening of jubilee exhibition.
The exhibition is not a traditional one, but is accessible only in the internet. On top of that, the exhibition will be updated annually and thus be a permanent source of information on what has happened throughout the years.
The exhibition introduces all the Veikkausliiga seasons, star players and comprehensive statistics alongside with photos from every season of Veikkausliiga bringing back memories.
- I have to say the exhibition is a marvellous package of history and information. It may well take a full working day to go through everything. I can imagine this exhibition is especially interesting for junior players who now have the possibility to get acquainted with those stars who played in Veikkausliiga before they were born themselves, one of the Veikkausliiga former star players, striker Mika Kottila said.
The exhibition will be updated regularly with new material. It has been built up in co-operation with main sponsor Veikkaus and Finnish Sports Museum.
