Competitions
- The Competitions Committee is responsible of advising in particular, but not limited to the following fields:
- Discusses best practices to improve the structures and formats of national competitions organised by Member and Associate Member Leagues;
- Exchanges views on the current UEFA club competitions format, marketing and re-distribution of revenues;
- Makes recommendations on the international calendar, including proposals for the coordination of UEFA and FIFA national teams competitions with national tournaments.
Marketing and Media
The Marketing and Media is responsible of advising in particular, but not limited to the following fields:
- Discusses the general marketing strategy for the EPFL;
- Advises on matters concerning the relationship between the EPFL and its various marketing and media partners;
- Fosters exchanges between Members on marketing and media matters;
- Monitors development and evolution of the industry;
- Discusses topics dealt with by other committees that also concern the EPFL’s marketing and media activities;
- Advises the EPFL on public relations work;
- Elaborates proposals for EPFL publications and research activities and, if necessary, assists in devising and preparing them;
- Develops collaboration with international organisations in the media and commercial sector;
- Observes developments in the media and commercial sector and makes proposals for tackling new challenges;
- Exchanges information on practices and processes in terms of selling of media and commercial rights;
- Evaluates and recommends the implementation of measures to enhance the protection of intellectual property rights
- Discusses sponsorship issues;
- Deals with all media issues concerning the EPFL, its Members and Associate Members and football in general.
Social Responsibility
The Social Responsibility Committee is responsible of advising in particular, but not limited to the following fields:
- Proposes fair play activities and a fair play policy for the EPFL members;
- Proposes public relations campaigns to promote fair play in football;
- Defines the EPFL’s corporate social responsibility activities;
- Assesses measures and projects to tackle social problems on and off the football field, such as, by way of example, trafficking of minors, social exclusion, youth delinquency, illiteracy and discrimination;
- Deals with all matters of ethics, fair play and social responsibility relating to EPFL and football;
Players’ Transfer and Players’ Agent
The Players’ Transfers and Player’s Agents Committee is responsible of advising in particular, but not limited to the following fields:
- Matters related to the status and transfer of players and advises the EPFL accordingly;
- Matters related to the activity of players’ agents and match agents and advises the EPFL accordingly;
- Defines policies to safeguard the suitable functioning and organisation of the Players’ Transfer System at European level;
- Assists the Board of Directors and the CEO in their dialogue with FIFA, UEFA, national associations and any other appropriate body regarding the regulating of football administration to include proposing amendments to the appropriate rules and regulations.
