
PLMJ, Portuguese leading Law Firm, launched a new sport law collection. The New Legislation in Sport – a Commentary) is the first volume in the PLMJ Collection published by Wolters Kluwer Portugal/Coimbra Editora and was presented on the 26 of May at 6.30 p.m. at the Leya bookshop at CEBuchholz, Rua Duque de Palmela, 4, Lisbon, Portugal. The event featured Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros, CEO of the Association of European Professional Football Leagues.
The EPFL CEO Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros presented on Wednesday 26 May, in Lisbon, the book “The New Legislation in Sport – a Commentary (Volume II of PLMJ Collection).
The new volume, written and commented by PLMJ’s multidisciplinary sports law team, headed by Alexandre Mestre, covers issues raised by the world of sport’s growing professionalism, commercialisation and importance in the media, all factors which explain the increase in regulation and legislation in the sector.
