EPFL present at the
SCOTTISH PREMIER LEAGUE’s STRATEGY CONFERENCE
The EPFL CEO Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros, will participate today in the Strategy Conference of the Scottish Premier League (SPL), in Edinburgh, where he will present to the SPL’s Board of Directors and clubs’ chairmen the EPFL’s views on the key challenges currently facing Professional Football.
The SPL is one of the EPFL’s founding members, and plays an active role in all activities developed by the EPFL at the international level.
“Under the leadership of Lex Gold and his team, the SPL has been achieving outstanding success, both on the pitch and on the commercial front, with the relevant result of having brought the League on a prominent level across the European Professional Football landscape”, notes Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros.
The participation of the EPFL in SPL’s Strategy Meeting happens for the second time in the last two years and, as explains the CEO of the EPFL, it represents “important step in our strategy of building closer and closer relations with our member Leagues and their affiliated clubs. Being fully aware of their needs and aspirations, we are better placed and prepared to perform our mission”.
Lex Gold, the Executive Chairman of the SPL, and also member of the EPFL Board of Directors said: “As a league it is important that we continue to look outwards for ideas and work together with the top leagues across Europe. Our work with the EPFL is vital in that context and we are delighted to have Emanuel Medeiros attending our Strategy Conference today.”
