League Association responds on "50+1" legal action

League Association President Dr. Reinhard Rauball

The League Association has filed its rejoinder at the court of arbitration to the legal action taken by Hannover 96 against the 50+1 regulation. The court will now rule on how to proceed with the matter.

"We have stated our point of view to the court of arbitration objectively and within the given time limit. Our arguments for the legality of the 50+1 regulation and for its retention are clear and convincing, so we are looking forward with confidence to the next stage of the proceedings,” said League Association President Dr. Reinhard Rauball.

The existing 50+1 regulation stipulates that investors cannot take over the voting majority at clubs of the League Association.
