The EPFL is actively involved in Activities of International Cooperation, in order to enhance the objective of fostering cooperation and mutual understanding between its Members and Associate Members and relevant stakeholders.The EPFL has therefore established constructive relations with several entities and institutions within both the sporting and political sector.

Relationship between the EPFL and other Football Bodies

UEFA Professional Football Strategy Council

On the Football sphere, the EPFL is actively involved in developing and reinforcing the relations with Football Bodies to discuss matters of relevance not just to Europe, but the entire world as well.

UEFA: The EPFL is involved in the Professional Football Strategy Council (PFSC)

FIFA: The EPFL undertakes relations to deal on issue of common concerns and runs consultative meetings.

FIFPro: The EPFL reinforced the ongoing relationship with FIFPro and developed a positive and constructive dialogue, that culminated with the launch of the European Social Dialogue in Professional Football Sector, held in Paris, on the 1st of July 2008.

Relationship between the EPFL and the International Institutions

Co-operation with the European Governmental Institution PictureOn the institutional sphere, the EPFL has reinforced its co-operation with the European Governmental Institution and constructively collaborated with MEPs and Commission’s officials in the definition and implementation of an EU policy-making in the area of sport to further promote the sound and stable development of Professional Football and jointly tackle issues of common concern where public policy is welcome and indeed needed.

Indeed, the EPFL is actively involved in the consultative process of many of their initiatives:
