EPFL with high profile at Soccerex Global Convention

The EPFL, represented by its CEO Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros, had a prominent role in the important conference panel gathering world Leagues’ Executives in the Soccerex Global Convention, held in Rio de Janeiro.
The panel, which was considered by many the most interesting of the day, also counted with the participation of senior representatives of European Leagues, such as Francisco Roca Perez (General Director of the Spanish La Liga) and Redha Chibani ( Director of International Development and Marketing of the French LFP), besides Ataíde Gil Guerreiro, CEO of the "Clube dos Treze", and Will Wilson, Executive Vice President of the Major League Soccer (USA and Canada) .
Several issues currently facing Professional Football, at national, European and world level, were lively debated, with particular focus on League’s governance; broadcasting and sponsorship structures; domestic and international marketing strategies and Leagues’ responsibility in ensuring financial stability. During the event, Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros presented the strategic vision, main priorities and proposals of the EPFL Association to meet the challenges currently facing the sporting, economic and social dimension of football.
On an important public statement, Ataíde Gil Guerreiro announced Clube dos Treze's intention to transform itself into a League within a short period of time, to further develop Brazillian club football and the clubs' business model.
