The official ball “Tenor” as a renovated design for the French League Cup Final

The official match ball of the French League Cup was redesigned for the Final.

The Cup of innovation, the League Cup is the first national competition to have an official ball, unique for every match, from the first round to the final. Launched in 2003/2004 season, the ball “Tenor” produced by Uhlsport, official provider of the League Cup, as rapidly established itself as a strong element of the competition’s identity. Inspired on the trophy, it has the golden spirals for seven seasons now.

On the occasion of the final Olympique de Marseille vs Girondins de Bordeaux, the “Tenor” was presented with a new design.  It is more an evolution rather than a revolution. The “Tenor” conservers its strong attributes, maintaining its golden spirals but with a more dynamic design.
