The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Association of European Professional Football Leagues (EPFL) signed on 14 April 2008 in Lisbon, Portugal, a Cooperation Agreement to promote a series of initiatives aimed at sensitizing the public on issues related to food security and the fight against hunger.
