Ambassadors

Using their talent and influence, a number football stars who have joined Professional Football Against Hunger as Ambassadors raise public awareness of food security issues and encourage people to join the fight against hunger and malnutrition, making ‘Food for All’ a reality in the near future.

Each Ambassador supports the joint efforts of EPFL, ECHO and FAO to focus the public’s attention on the unacceptable levels of hunger and malnutrition suffered by close to one billion people in the world, despite the fact that the world produces a great abundance of food.

Ambassadors also donate their time to promoting fund-raising activities which finance FAO´s community projects, enabling vulnerable families and communities to produce their own food.
