Ambassadors

Using their talent and influence, a number football stars have joined the Professional football against hunger Campaign as Ambassadors, to raise public awareness to food security issues and mobilizing civil society in the fight against hunger and malnutrition, aiming to make Food for All a reality in the 21st century and beyond.

With this nomination they want  to support the joint efforts of EPFL/FAO to attract public attention to the unacceptable situation in which, although the world produces a great abundance of food, 963 million people suffer from hunger and malnutrition.

They also to donate their time in promoting fund-raising activities to finance FAO´s Telefood projects, that enable poor families and communities to produce their own food.
