Picture of EPFL Events Members Meeting

The EPFL actively participates in various events and meetings in the sport and political international calendar, developing networking platforms to address major critical issues currently affecting the European Professional Football Leagues and organizes “ad hoc” events with the aim of highlighting important topics, cooperation’s or new developments.

Besides the organisation of the above mentioned events, the EPFL has actively participated in various events and meetings in the sport and political international calendar. The London based SoccerEx Forum, a networking platform, where the EPFL Leagues are able to meet current and potential partners and have the opportunity to hold face-to-face meetings with the several senior decision makers of the football industry. The 2009 SoccerEx Forum saw the involvement of the EPFL and its members and associate members in two conference panels dedicated to Partnerships and Synergies in Sports and to new Marketing trends in the commercialisation of Professional Football. In line with the above, the EPFL reached an agreement with Executive Soccer International, regarding its participation to the “Leaders in Football” event, Leaders in Football, is an exclusive two day football business networking event for senior decision makers specifically linked to Clubs, Leagues, Federations, brands and leading service providers in football. This was, once again, an important opportunity to address major critical issues currently affecting the European Professional Football Leagues.

Furthermore the EPFL constructively collaborates with Members of European Parliament (MEPs) and Commission’s officials in the definition and implementation of an EU policy-making in the area of sport to further promote the sound and stable development of Professional Football and jointly tackle issues of common concern where public policy is welcome and indeed needed.
