The training and work resumes in early January

Each of the sixteen teams in Ekstraklasa are on a preparatory period outside Poland. Like every year, the most popular teams are in Spain (Mijas, Malaga, Alicante, Murcia), Turkey (Antalya, Alanya) and Cyprus (Napa, Liopetri).

The first round of 2010 is scheduled for February 27:
