Electronic analysis of the matches in all Ekstraklasa clubs
Ekstraklasa SA brought to their clubs the latest commercially available analytical tools. The agreement to provide a modern system of match analysis, which will be available to all clubs in Ekstraklasa, was signed on 9 February 2010 in Warsaw. The system will be provided by an English company called Prozone, and it is used already, by the some of the top clubs in Europe. Real Madrid, Arsenal or Manchester United are some of the examples.
The agreement signed on 9 February 2010 is another step forward in the strategy for the development and professionalization of the Polish Football League. This system and other similar ones only benefits some of the richest clubs around the world. The agreement between Ekstraklasa SA and Prozone, guarantees that all clubs will have equal access to modern technologies, allowing in this sense a complete detailed analysis of the all the match events.
“Our aim is to continuously professionalize and raise the standards of the highest division in Polish Football, both sport and organizational wise”, says Andrzej Rusko, President of the Ekstraklasa SA.
“ As the tournament manager, I decided to give our clubs equal access to very useful training and tactical tools, because we believe that this support will be translated into growth of the level of matches and of the attractiveness of the Ekstraklasa. Today the Polish Football League joins an exclusive group of professionals. The analysis prepared by the Prozone is well recommended. This technology is used by the strongest clubs in the world. So we had no doubt that the Ekstraklasa MatchViewer applications represents a significant milestone in their work and training of Polish Premier League clubs. This innovative tool gives them a completely new set of opportunities. It will allow the detailed analysis and evaluation of the game to all teams involved in the Ekstraklasa matches. The system, already experimented by some of our experts was very well rated. The time has come for all clubs of the league to raise the sporting and tactical skills of their teams with equal opportunity” added President Rusko.
The agreement was signed with Prozone for two and a half seasons with the possibility of renewal and the introduction of additional applications, in the end of next season.

By being supplied by our data, Polish clubs, will gain the latest and most updated analysis of the performances of its teams and individual players, as well as information about their rivals. We believe that this is the beginning of a long collaboration, which will allow Poland and Polish league teams to take a step forward in the European hierarchy”, said James Myszkorowski, Prozone Business Manager for Central Europe.
Prozone MatchViewer system allows full technical and tactical analysis using only one camera or a TV signal. It allows the updated analysis of almost every element of a football match. It can be used both for analysis your own team and your rivals.
15 of the 20 UK Premier League clubs (including, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United), and 18 of the 24 Championship clubs. The system is also used by the Organization of Judges of the Premier League, by the Football Managers Organization, by the Football Organization of Coaches and by the English Football Federation. Prozone’s similar solutions are also used by FIFA and some of its national federations (including the Irish and the American Football Federations), as well as the most recognized brands and clubs like Real Madrid.
