Celtic have been the busiest of all the SPL clubs in a hectic day of transfer activity.
Late in the evening, Robbie Keane signed on loan from Tottenham until the end of the season, following the earlier captures of Dutch full-back Edson Braafheid on loan from Bayern Munich and Senegal striker Diomansy Camara in a similar switch from Fulham.
Tony Mowbray has also brought in Motherwell's teenage winger Paul Slane on a four-year contract while Scott McDonald has linked up with Gordon Strachan at Middlesbrough.
Aberdeen boss Mark McGhee has snapped up Plymouth pair Steven MacLean and Jim Paterson on loan from Plymouth. Ex-Rangers striker MacLean has also turned out for Sheffield Wednesday while midfielder Paterson can count Dundee United and Motherwell among his former clubs.
Hamilton have bolstered their attack by signing ex-Clyde hitman Dougie Imrie from Inverness CT while new Hearts boss Jim Jefferies landed midfielder Ryan Stevenson from Ayr United.
One-time Falkirk and Rangers forward Alan Gow has joined Hibernian on a temporary transfer from Plymouth and Motherwell boss Craig Brown has added New Zealand midfielder Michael McGlinchey to his squad. The former Celtic player has moved to Fir Park on loan.
New Kilmarnock boss Jimmy Calderwood has drafted in a trio of new faces on loan. Scott Severin and Rob Kiernan arrive from Watford and Chris Maguire moves south from Aberdeen.
Celtic midfielder Graham Carey has made the switch to St Mirren on loan and St Johnstone have signed highly-rated Bolton centre-half Mark Connolly, 18, on loan until the summer.
Rangers forward Steven Lennon has moved south on loan to Chris Sutton's Lincoln City.
