Barclays' quest to find the ultimate fan's experience of English top flight football is continuing at pace.
The title sponsor of the Premier League has embarked on a worldwide search to find the most unique match-day experience.
The fan who enters the best Barclays Premier League experience will win a trip for two to see the Barclays Premier League team of their choice.
Entries for the competition have demonstrated the unique reach of the Barclays Premier League around the world, with fans from over 200 countries entering the competition.
Remarkable entries
Entries have been submitted from as far afield as Guyana, Macau and Greenland, where fans have logged on to http://www.barclaysfootball.com/ since the launch on 8th February 2010.
The winning entry will bring to life how fans across the globe watch the Barclays Premier League when they cannot make it to a live match. The judges are looking for fans to show what makes their match-day experience so special including the venue, build up to the match, match rituals, how many people gather together, how fans support their team and how they celebrate.
One of the more remarkable entries so far has come from Ghanaian charity worker Daniel Vainner who sent in a clip from inside a village hut near the Togo border where passionate fans get their weekly fix of Barclays Premier League football.
Samuel Page from Hong Kong is one of the more unusual entrants as he watches matches on his Nokia N85, while working on the door as a bouncer at a nightclub.
Dedicated Wolverhampton Wanderers fan Carissa Murrell lives around 20,000 kilometres from Molineux in New Zealand but doesn't miss a chance to rise in the dark of night and watch matches while draped in her club's attire.
Favourite Team
These are just three of thousands of entries as fans seek to win the trip of a lifetime.
The winner will be selected by the competition judging panel led by former Chelsea and France legend, Marcel Desailly, who will be joined by Liverpool's record goal scorer, Ian Rush, and one of the most recognised voices of the game, global football commentator Martyn Tyler.
Speaking from his home in Accra, Ghana, Marcel Desailly said: "The Barclays Premier League generates so much passion in hundreds of countries globally, and people go to extraordinary lengths to follow their favourite team. We've had some amazing entries so far, but I know there are many more unique match-day experiences and venues that we are yet to see."
Fans who think they have the best match-day experience are encouraged to enter their videos, audio clips and photos at http://www.barclaysfootball.com In no more than 100 words fans are invited to explain why they feel their match-day experience is the best in the world.
