All matches of the Eredivisie schedulled to be played next Sunday, 28 December 2010, were canceled. On the match between NEC and Vitesse, the pitch was out of conditions for the match, so the KNVB decided to apply the delay of the matchday for all other games that were set, due to the winter weather conditions.
The League thought it was irresponsible and dangerous for supporters to get to the stadiums with roads with such bad conditions.
