The Licensing Committee of the Swiss Football League (SFL) granted, in first instance, the License IV to participate in the Challenge League (ChL) season 2010/11, to 7 of the 13 clubs that had solicited for the license. According to the competition regulations of the First League (3rd Division), the license is obligatory to be able to participate in promotion finals. The appeal could be done within the next five days.
