
Blackpool Chairman Karl Oyston has been elected to the Football League Board.
Oyston was chosen by his fellow Coca-Cola Championship, to take the position vacated by Terry Robinson, who recently left Sheffield United.
He joins fellow board members: Lord Mawhinney - Chairman, Ian Ritchie - Independent, David Sheepshanks - Ipswich Town, Keith Lamb - Middlesbrough, Lorraine Rogers - Tranmere Rovers, Peter Powell - Colchester United and Tony Kleanthous - Barnet.
Oyston became Chairman of the Seasiders in 1999 and during his time has seen the club rise from League 2 to up amongst the promotion hopefuls in the Coca-Cola Championship.
He previously served on the Board in 2005 and 2006 as a League 1 representative.
