The French Professional Football League and the Française des Jeux sign partnership

La Française des Jeux, the French state lottery and gaming company, and the French Professional Football League (LFP), have agreed a partnership for the next two seasons (2010/2011 and 2011/2012). This agreement came into effect on the final of the League Cup, on 27 March 2010.

This partnership with LFP is concerning Ligue 1, Ligue 2 and the League Cup and will be completed with the specific agreements that will be performed with the professional football clubs.

The competitions organized by the LFP (Ligue 1, Ligue 2, League Cup) give rhythm to the current French football world with more than 800 matches each season. They are also the preferred program of the French, gathering around 12 million spectators in the stadiums and 150 million TV spectators just last season 2008/2009.
