The EPFL, the largest employers' organisation the professional football sector, has inaugurated a series of workshops aimed at promoting Social Dialogue in East European countries.
The kick-off session was given with the organisation of a high-level workshop on 23 February ultimo, at the Polish Olympic Committee, in Warsaw. Hosted by the Polish Football League (Ekstraklasa), the event welcome the participation of delegates from all Polish premier division’s clubs, the Polish FA and players' union, as well as other EPFL Member Leagues.
On the occasion, a comprehensive overview on the work developed by the social partners within the scope of the EU Social Dialogue was offred to the audience by group of senior representatives of the EPFL and the Polish League, as well as ECA and UEFA, who also supported and participated in the EPFL's initiative. The workshop has also provided a fruitful discussion on the general principles contained in the so-called Autonomous Agreement on minimum contractual requirements as well as its implementation in Poland and eastern European countries.
