EPFL inaugurates new Headquarters in Nyon and homages Michel Platini

The Association of European Professional Football Leagues (EPFL) will inaugurate next Wednesday, 10 March 2010, its new Headquarters, a modern, ample and functional space located at the heart of Nyon, in Switzerland.

Following the inauguration ceremony, which will take place at 17:30, an Official Dinner shall be served to all EPFL guests, at 20:00, at the Hoteal Beau-Rivage Nyon. During this Official Dinner, the EPFL shall distinguish the UEFA President Michel Platini.

Such events shall be preceded, at 12:00, by an EPFL-UEFA friendly football match at the Stade of Colovray, in the same city. A symbolic kick-off shall be performed by the UEFA President Michel Platini and the EPFL Chairman Sir David Richards, who will also present the trophies to the players of both teams to merit the efforts and fair play during the game.

On the following morning, on 11 March 2010, the EPFL shall hold its second General Assembly of the season at the UEFA Headquarters.

Culminating this series of events, a Press Conference will be held on Thursday, 11 March 2010 at 15:00, at the EPFL Headquarters (Le Martinet, Chemin du Canal, n° 1, Nyon, Switzerland).
