The EPFL CEO Emanuel Macedo de Mederios was the guest of honor of the 2010/2011 edition of the Bulgarian Cup Final, organised by the local Professional League
The match, which opposed CKSA Sofia and Slavia Sofia, took place at the national stadium in the Bulgarian capital. CSKA won the decisive match with a 1-0 final result, increasing the number of successful Cup titles to 11.
At the end of the match, Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros and Stefan Karpralov, President of the Bulgarian Professional Football League, handed over the winners’ trophy to CSKA Sofia team’s captain and prized players and managers of both teams with medals.
On the occasion, Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros, accompanied by his Head of Office Jair Bertoni, the League's President and other senior representatives of the Bulgarian League had a cordial meeting with the President of the Bulgarian FA and Member of UEFA Executive Committee, Borislav Mikhailov.
The meeting, which was held in a positive and informal fashion, served to discuss several matters of common interest and to constructively strengthen the cooperation between all parties.
