EUROPEAN LEAGUES SET OUT STRATEGIC PRIORITIES FOR THE FUTURE
European Leagues ' chiefs will gather in London on 7 October for the first EPFL General Assembly of the 2010/2011 football season.
The EPFL supreme body will be making important decisions related to the most relevant internal and external challenges facing the organisation responsible for representing the common interest of the major 30 European Leagues and around 950 professionall clubs across Europe. At the top of the agenda will be the approval of the 2009/2010 Annual Report of Activities and Financial Report, as well as the 2010/2011 Global Stratgey and Action Plan and, last but not the least, the elections of the EPFL Board of Drectors for the cycle 2010-2013.
On the occasion, the Association will also present its recent study on Financial Solidarity at the Leagues and European level and will reinforce its commitment to further protect the intergrity of the Leagues' competitions and their intellectual property rights. To this end, an innovative proposal shall be submitted to the General Assembly, aimed at the creation of Task Force of experts on the field and a subsequent Code of Conduct on Sports Betting Integrity.
The EPFL General Assembly shall be held at Chelsea FC Stadium, coinciding with the international business event “Leaders in Football”.
