World market leader Topps and Bundesliga continue their partnership. In the course of an open, transparent and discrimination-free tender, the DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga GmbH (German Football League) accepted the bid submitted by Topps Europe Ltd. In the season 2011/2012, Topps Europe will hold the licensing rights for Bundesliga stickers and trading cards. Topps will continue to have the possibility to produce and distribute sticker albums with corresponding stickers, trading card games, and a trading card collection. Furthermore the tender package contains the rights for digital usage for Internet and mobile services. On behalf of the DFL, the tender process was conducted by the league’s 100% subsidiary, DFL Sports Enterprises.

The Topps Company was founded in 1938 and since 2007, has become world market leader for sports related trading cards. In addition to sports licensing in the US, Topps is also licensee in regard to sticker and trading cards for the English Premier League.
