A big clash on the restart of the Championship in February

The ten clubs in Axpo Super League will resume the second phase of championship on the weekend of 6 and 7 February 2010. As in past years, the big clash at the top of the League will be on the 19th matchday: the leader BSC Young Boys will play the second place FC Basel. The 36th and final round will be held on 16 May 2010. Representatives Challenge League restart competition on the 13 and 14 February 2010.

In addition to the clash between FC Basel and Young Boys, on Sunday, 7 February 2010, at Parc St-Jacques, the return of League will be a special also for the match between FC Aarau, tenth and last positioned, and AC Bellinzona the ninth place.

Other games in the program: St-Gallen - Sion, Zurich - Lucerne and Neuchatel Xamax - Grasshopper.

The second phase of the championship was scheduled to deliver the same matches, only this time is inverted for the team playing at home or outside. The 36th and last round will be played on  Sunday, 16 May 2010. The 35th day is set three days earlier, Thursday, 13 May 2010.  For these last two days of competition, the schedule of the five games will be identical.

The Challenge League restarts on 13/14 February

The Challenge League resumes duties a week after the Axpo Super League. On the weekend of 13/14 February 2010, the current leader FC Lugano will host Yverdon Sport FC in their stadium. FC Thun will travel to Lausanne to face FC Le Mont LS and FC Vaduz will try to win in FC Wil 1900. Other games on the 16th round program: Gossau - Biel, Kriens - Servette Stadium Nyonnais - Locarno, Schaffhausen – Winterthur and Wohlen - Lausanne.

The 2009/10 season Challenge League will also be completed on 15/16 May 2010. Then the dam between the ninth of the Axpo Super League and the second to Challenge League is set. The official dates of these meetings will be announced during spring.
