Investbank SA became the main sponsor of the Bulgarian Professional Football (BPFL) League’s Premier Division until the end of this season 2009/2010.
The Bank's support to the BPFL was announced on 31 March 2010, at a special press conference in the National Stadium "Vasil Levski", and was attended by Atanas Kanchev, Member of the Board of Directors of the Invest Bank, Valentin Mihov, President of the Bulgarian Professional Football League, and Tsvetelina Lazarova, Director of Public Relations and Protocol of Investbank.
Valentin Mihov expressed his satisfaction on the fact that the League was able to attract a great stable sponsor like the financial institution Investbank.
In congratulations to the athletes, the organizers of the Bulgarian Football Premier League and the Bulgarian soccer fans in general, Petya Slavova, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Investbank SA, stated that, “Investbank is a Bulgarian bank which is associated with the social development of the country. Traditional bank provides financial support to major projects in the field of culture and sport, which will contribute to the preservation and development of the Bulgarian values and to the inclusion in our society of the European and World values. Bulgarian football as also contributed to international sport with big names that helped to build and improve the image of Bulgaria in the World. They will remain in the Bulgarian history as an example of excellence”.
