
The European Professional Football Leagues are back in action to fight against hunger! The EPFL will officially present its new awareness video spot in Rome, on occasion of the launch of the FAO “1 Billion Hungry” Petition Campaign, on 11th of May 2010.
The Event will see the participation of several football players ambassadors like Hansi Müller, Fernando Couto and Patrick Vieira, among others. They will be accompanied by Sir David Richards and Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros, respectively Chairman and CEO of the EPFL, together with Executives from the major European Leagues: José Luis Astiazarán (President of the Spanish LA LIGA); Maurizio Beretta (President of the Italian LEGA CALCIO); Tom Bender (Member of the Executive Board of the German BUNDESLIGA); Orlando Carvalho (Executive Committee Member of LIGA PORTUGAL); Georg Pangl (CEO of the Austrian BUNDESLIGA).
The Event will be filmed and distributed by EUROVISION together with the EPFL video spot, whose production has been realized thanks to the extraordinary participation of five international football players: Raúl González Blanco ( LA LIGA); René Adler (BUNDESLIGA); Luca Toni (LEGA CALCIO); Joăo Moutinho (LIGA PORTUGAL); Gary Neville (PREMIER LEAGUE).
The Eurovision world feed will be available on 11th of May, starting from 15:30 GMT, for one month time (please follow the link below).
